Our customer required a robotic system to enable online location and sampling of points on a carcass in order to take measurements for scientific evaluation. The measurement was to be made at the same point regardless of carcass size and shape.
We worked closely with our client to develop the end of arm tool, machine vision robot guidance and data logging from a number of third party sensors. Development and testing was carried out on site.
Our customer can now obtain data consistently and accurately, enabling them to undertake further research into meat quality measures.
