In-House Projects Peacock Technology has an active in-house development program. Often, the right team for taking a new product to market is not the original development team, and the transition from R&D through to commercialisation can be a challenging one. PTL recognises this and has developed a model for commercialising new products. New IP is developed in-house until it is ready for commercialisation, then a new company is formed together with commercial partners and external investors. This new company acts independently, and creates a vehicle for commercialising the new product. PTL invests all relevant IP in the new company. While the New Company builds up its own team the PTL R&D team supports on-going development under a Service Agreement.
