Machine Vision Systems

PTL has undertaken a range of machine vision projects, from industrial inspection systems for defect detection, to video compression, and through to complex real-time tracking systems.

Our team is familiar with a number of industry standard packages, including WiT and Common Vision Blox, and with the latest camera technologies, including GigE. We have also built bespoke cameras for applications requiring more tailored solutions, including Stereo Vision cameras and Time of Flight cameras.

Our team is highly qualified to undertake machine vision projects. Both Andrew Peacock and Alan Green hold PhDs in the field of machine vision; Oliver Lewis previously worked in developing Video over Internet systems for CCTV surveillance.

We have particular experience in the use of machine vision with Thermal and Time-of-Flight camera systems.
